35 High paying jobs that don’t require a degree

Did you know you can earn five or six figures with jobs that don’t require a degree?

I know it’s good to have a degree. But if you don’t have one and you don’t see yourself going back to college, don’t limit yourself to any job.

You have a lot of great choices.

And in this post, I will show you 11 of the many high-paying jobs that don’t require a degree. And you can start some of them right now…

1. Freelance Writing

If you think you only need a degree to earn a high salary, you may be wrong.

Freelance writing is a very lucrative career that you can start right away.

Fortunately, you don’t need many degrees to work as a freelance writer. I even know some non-native English speakers who make four figures from this job. So if you can get past your t and fix the punctuation, you’re on the right track.

For now, forget the $5 Fiver gig. I know writers who make $100 – $300 per post. But they don’t hustle with $5 gigs. Instead, they go out and sell directly to companies that pay well. How?

Prospects: Find companies with high prospects on LinkedIn and Google.

Email: Find the contact’s email address using hunter or Snov.io and

Pitch: Send emails to potential companies and pitch your ideas

2. Become a transcriber

Est. Income: $24,000

Transcription work is another lucrative job that doesn’t require a college degree to get started and makes a lot of money.

The average base salary for a copywriter, according to Glassdoor, is $24,000.

Remember that this number only gives a reasonable idea of how much you can expect to earn.

You can earn more or maybe less, depending on the company you work for and a number of other factors.

As a transcriber, your role is to convert audio messages to text format.

In that case, your only necessary skills are sufficient knowledge of the language, good listening, and fast typing. If you ticked three boxes, then you are ready.

3. Open an Etsy shop

This is more like starting your own business than working for someone. The good thing is that there is no limit to how much you can earn from your Etsy stores.

There are Etsy store owners making over $10,000/month from their stores. Alicia Shaffer makes over $1 million a year from her Etsy store.

Now, even if you start with $1000, that’s still a decent income. But the good news is that the longer you stay on Etsy, the more products you have and the more money will go into your bank account.

So, with a little time and patience, you can make six figures from your ETSY store.

4. Become a Digital Marketer

Est. Income: $100,000

Companies spend $333.25 billion on Digital Ads in 2019 alone. To understand what I’m talking about, check out this breakdown of ad spend across different platforms:

Now, if only 0.001% of that money could get into your bank, you could live the next 10 years sitting on the beach.

How? By becoming a digital marketer. Your sole job is to help companies optimize their ads for their target audience and drive sales.

I’ve seen some digital marketers make over $100,000/year doing exactly that.

You don’t need a degree to do that, but you do need training in digital marketing.

If you don’t know how to get started, I recommend you sign up for Clickbank’s affiliate marketing course.

Clickbank has helped its clients make over $4 billion using the same strategies you’ll be taught in that course.
